I ♥️ SOS
An exploration of why Swindon loves
Swindon Open Studios
An exhibition by Swindon Open Studios
We are celebrating the history of Swindon Open Studios with an exhibition called:
'I ♥️ SOS’
Do you have a fabulous or fond memory relating to SOS? Were you an original exhibitor? Did you exhibit for the first time at a SOS event? Is this year’s event your first?
We are looking for all types of local works of art that have previously been displayed at SOS and the inspirational stories behind them. We would like the exhibition to represent the vibrant visual arts scene and passionate community that Swindon Open Studios has created over the years.
Swindon Open Studios
A bit about your curator
Swindon Open Studios is a community based art event, which began in 2004. Artists from Swindon and the surrounding areas invite people into their studios, home and pop-up exhibitions the last 2 weekends in September.
It's a unique chance for them to share their work and for the visitors to see how and where the magic happens.

All Artists who have participated in Swindon Open Studios, both past and present*, are invited to showcase one piece of work which can be current or created in the past 25 years. We are also accepting art from past artists who are no longer with us, so if you have purchased a piece in the past then we’d love to see it too.
We will be accepting submissions of physical art pieces; 2D, 3D, photography, sculptures, pottery, ceramics and mosaics are welcome.
Physical art pieces need to be delivered to the venue prior to the exhibition and remain on-site until the end of the exhibition.
There is no charge for exhibiting, and no fee for selling, however artists will have to manage the sale themselves. The volunteers will give prospective buyers artists contact details. The exhibition will be free for the public to enter.
If you ♥️ SOS, share the love and submit a piece now 😁
