As Time Goes By

An Performance/Workshop by Jacqueline Bardwell

As Time Goes By will be two 30-minute performances including dance and circus skills workshops with the community. We’ll also have a photographic exhibition to run for the festival's duration.

During the duration of the festival, I am intending to create an installation with a mixture of mixed media, interactive sounds and activities, a photographic exhibition, representing some of the historic and iconic work I have done with various theatre groups, over the years, in the local community. A static display of excerpts from The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. People will be able to visit during the week. Aimed at family audiences.

My plan for the actual performances will be at the weekend in the afternoon, covering aspects of past pieces of dance, cabaret, poetry and comedy, with some references to issues around image, fashion and general world oppression.

Then followed by a participatory workshop with mixed circus skills along with simple dance and movement routines.

Location to be decided soon so keep an eye out for updates!
